Refund Policy

TOKEN sells prepaid credit that you spend on API usage. This policy explains when and how you can get money back.

Unused credit

You can request a refund of unused credit within 90 days of the top-up that added it. We refund the unused amount to your original payment method, minus the credit purchase fee charged on that purchase (5.5%, shown at checkout as its own line). The fee covers payment processing costs that our payment provider does not return to us on refunds. Top-ups are charged in Saudi riyals at the fixed rate of 3.75 SAR per USD, and refunds are paid in Saudi riyals at the same rate.

Example: you buy $100 of credit and pay $105.50. You use $40. You can request a refund of the remaining $60. The $5.50 credit purchase fee is not refunded.

Credit is used in the order it was added. The free starter credit ($0.50, added once your email address is verified), promotional credit and credit from redemption codes are not refundable.

Used credit

Credit already spent on API usage is not refundable, except where we made a billing error. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days with the request IDs and we will investigate and correct any error.

How to request a refund

Email support@thetoken.dev from the email address on your account, with the date and amount of the purchase. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through our payment provider and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. When a payment is refunded or disputed, the matching credit is removed from your account. If that credit was already used, your balance can become negative, and your API keys are suspended until the balance is settled.

Account closure

If you close your account, you can request a refund of unused paid credit under this policy, within 90 days of the top-up that added it.

Changes

We may update this policy. Purchases are covered by the policy in force on the date of purchase.
